Maida -1/2 cup
Powdered sugar -1/2 cup
Egg-2
Warm milk-1 tablespoon
Vanilla essence-1/4teaspoon
Mixed fruit jam-2 tablespoon
Icing sugar-4tablespoon
  • Preheat the oven to 200 C.butter a baking tray and line with  parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl whisk  flour with salt set aside
  • In a medium size bowl add eggs and vanilla essence .Beat with an electric beater .slowly add powdered sugar .Gradually add flour mixture  and milk.
  • Bake 180 C for 10 minute or until a tooth pick inserted in to the center comes out clean.
  • Take a butter paper and with icing sugar .this helps the cake not stick to the butter paper, flip the cake over the paper.
  • Spread jam .while still hot, roll the cake up in the paper. Keep for some time.
  • Slice in to pieces
